Nigerian football officials said Monday they would complain to Fifa after the country's second team flew to the United States for a tournament that had been postponed without their knowledge.

Last week, the country's second team flew to Dallas, Texas, for a four-nation Green Bowl Tournament. They were told when they arrived that the event had been postponed for two weeks.
"The organisers have to offset all our expenses and also pay us a compensation,” said Aminu Maigari, president of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The organisers blamed the hitch on difficulties with the ticketing system for the tournament, which was to feature Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica.
