Bombing must stop, says Sudan rebel leader

Displaced people from Sudan's Blue Nile state return to their homes after the army took control of the area at Al-Damazin town.
Reuters/Mohamed Nureldin AbdallahSince last month, fighting has broken out between Sudanese Armed Forces and a banned political party turned rebel force called SPLM-N in the southern Blue Nile state. It is difficult to obtain information about the clashes as Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir has banned foreign aid agencies from the area. But the rebel leader says daily aerial bombing is terrorizing civilians.
