The Democratic Republic of Congo elects a new president on 28 November. Incumbent Joseph Kabila hopes to be reelected. His main challenger, veteran opposition chief Etienne Tshisekedi, is already crying foul and there are charges of organisational mayhem. Nine other candidates also have their hats in the ring.
