The militant Islamist group, Boko Haram, is reportedly stepping up it bombing campaign in northern Nigeria. In the latest attack, gunmen are said to have killed three people in the town of Azare in Buchi state, Boko Haram aims to rid Nigeria of Western education, and to impose Sharia law.
