Swedish journalists sentenced in Ethiopia

Earlier this week, a court in Ethiopia sentenced two Swedish journalists - reporter Martin Schibbye and photographer Johan Persson - to eleven years imprisonment on charges of supporting terrorism and entering the country illegally. The verdict sparked widespread condemnation and prompted the Swedish government to ask the European Union and the United States for help in securing their release.
