Chad's former leader Hissène Habré to be tried in Senegal

法新社AFPSenegal's President Macky Sall announced during the AU Summit that Chad's former leader, Hissène Habré, would be brought to trial in Senegal, and not in Belgium. Belgium issued an international arrest warrant against Habré in 2005, and has made numerous attempts to extradite him from Senegal without success. RFI spoke to a legal expert, who has been following the Habré case for the past thirteen years.
