Clinton in South Africa to build bilateral ties
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is welcomed by South African Foreign Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane in Pretoria
Reuters/Siphiwe SibekoUS secretary of State Hillary Clinton was due in Pretoria Tuesday for the annual South Africa strategic dialogue meeting. She is due to meet South Africa's International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane. This latest round of bilateral meetings, first launched in 2009, are aimed at reinforcing ties between the two countries on a large range of issues, mainly economic. Scott Fursing, a South Africa-US relations specialist, speaks.
