Nigeria arrests Boko Haram infiltrators in security services

Nigerian authorities have arrested several security officials accused of carrying out attacks in the name of the Islamist group Boko Haram. More than 1,400 peole have been killed since the group stepped its campaign of violence following the death of their leader in police custody. In April this year President Goodluck Jonathan said that Boko Haram has infiltrated the Nigerian state, including the security services. Hussein Manguno, a military expert in the northern Nigerian city of Maiduguri, says the armed forces are finally looking to the heart of the problem.
