Nigeria wants Bakassi peninsula review

AFP/Clément YangoRespite may be on the the way for the Bakassi people, following an announcement by the Federal Government in Nigeria that it may seek a review of a 2002 judgment by the International Court of Justice which ceded the oil-rich Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon. For Bakassi people who have since moved back to Nigeria, life is as hard as it is for those who have chosen to stay on the peninsula.
