Banned play's director slams Ugandan Media Council

Afri-TalentOne of the directors of a play banned in Uganda says he’s worried about the repercussions of continuing to stage his production. But John Ssegawa says he believes the country’s Media Council is on shaky legal ground in ordering performances of the play to be stopped. State of the Nation charts the country's history from independence up until now. It's particularly critical of poor governance and corruption. John Ssegawa says why he thinks Uganda's Media Council is so worried about its political commentary.
