 Ghanaian voters go to the polls on Friday in elections that are seen as opportunity to reinforce the country’s strong democratic principles. In Accra there were some problems with voting materials not being delivered on time and issues with voters not forming orderly queues. Otherwise voting took place peacefully with polls opening at 7am local time.
