Somalia's foreign minister Fowsiyo Yussuf Haji Aadan, at the AU summit

Hassan Sheikh Mohamud became the first president of Somalia to attend an African Union Summit yesterday. Mohamud was elected president 4 months ago. His is also the first government of Somalia to be officially recognised by the United States in over 20 years. Mohamud's foreign minister Fowsiyo Yussuf Haji Aadan, the first woman to hold the position, is also at the AU summit in Addis Abbaba, from where she talked to RFI.
