Kenya is experiencing a quiet but significant technological revolution which has vastly increased access to services and communications for most of the country's inhabitants. Over 70 per cent of the thirty million Kenyans with mobile phones can use them to access banking services and health information. The drivers of this technological revolution are enterprising Kenyans who are creating innovative homemade technological solutions.
