UN, Africans discuss Mali after the war

The United Nations, the African Union, the west African organisation Ecowas and the World Bank met yesterday to discuss how to help Mali get back on its feet. Talks were primarily on how to organise and finance the African led force in Mali (Afisma) on elections and the roadmap put forward by the Malian government to return to political stability. Susanna Wing, political science professor at Haverford College, Pennsylvania, USA, comments.
