Mozambique women fail to take to female condom

Although it's been available since 1992, the female condom has never really caught on. But NGOs working in the areas of family planning and HIV/Aids have hailed it as one of the best contraceptives for its dual-protection quality: Just like the male condom, it prevents diseases and unwanted pregnancies. In the first of a three-part series on woman's sexual health in Mozambique,  a look at the work of the UAFC Joint Programme – a consortium of NGOs promoting the use of female condoms.
