New construction forces Lagos slum dwellers onto the street

As Nigerian authorities seach for new land for construction, slums dwellers in the country's main city Lagos are increasingly being evicted. A report by the human rights group Amnesty International says six months after 9,000 people were evicted from their homes in the Badia slum, many of the victims are still homeless and sleeping in the open.
