Life in Lamu in Kenya after terrorist attacks

Issued on:

Earlier this year, Lamu County in Kenya suffered several attacks from suspected Al-Shebab militants. Starting in July, the series of strikes on towns and villages along the coast of the Indian Ocean were some of the worst in the country's history. Up to 30 people were killed, dozens injured and hundreds more displaced. Our correspondent David John Bwakali spoke with Lamu residents to find out how the attacks changed their lives.
