Wikimedia CommonsAs Mexico is preparing the 2012 G-20 summit, as the first developing country to host the event, discussion papers are being presented on topics that are likely to trigger fierce debate among member states. One of them is price volatility, or food prices regulated by the market. An issue that's been taboo for decades has reappeared on the agenda: state regulation of staple-food prices.
