Chinese journalists take the streets

Journalists working for Chinese newspaper The Southern Weekend this week took to the streets after Guangdong's local head of party propaganda tampered with the editorial. China is known for being a country where freedom of speech is limited and state control is not unusual. So why did this case anger journalists across China? RFI spoke to Dr Wu Yan, lecturer in Media Studies at Swansea University (UK) who explained the subtleties of state-media relations in China.
