Middle East peace talks resume amid Israeli settlement building

Paece talks between Israel and the Palestinians are due to continue today in Jersusalem, after resuming in Washington last month. The last talks, in 2010, broke down over the issue of settlement building. Some observers say today's scheduled meeting has already been scuppered by an Israeli government go-ahead for more settlement building despite a Palestinian and Arab-Israeli prisoner release by Israel. RFI speaks to Rosemary Hollis, a professor of Middle East policy at City University London, about the rough road plan towards peace in the Middle East.
