Paris bourse falls again Thursday as European economic jitters continue
The Paris bourse fell again on Thursday after hitting its lowest level since August 2013 on Thursday. Markets suffered across Europe and in the US and Asia amid fears of a worsening economic situation in the EU.

A brief recovery at opening Thursday was quickly reversed as the Paris stock market fell 1.51 per cent – down 60.01 points to 3,879.71 points.
On Wednesday it joined other European markets in a general decline, losing 3.63 per cent.
Wall Street closed with the Dow Jones down 1.06 per cent, having slightly recovered from 2.80 per cent fall, and the Nasdaq down 0.28 per cent.
The markets were worried by gloomy predictions for the eurozone, where growth is expected to be sluggish and to be threatened by deflation, and lower forecasts for growth worldwide.
Concern over Greece’s economy and that negotiations with the country’s creditors, the EU and the IMF, were also affecting them.
After a visit to its Frankfurt headquarters from Greek central bank governor, Yannis Stournaras, on Wednesday, the European Central Bank decided to facilitate lending to Greek businesses, the Reuters news agency reported, but the Athens stock market remained unstable on Thursday.
Europe’s inflation rate remained at 0.3 per cent, the EU’s Eurostat office announced on Thursday.
In the US was to announce September’s figures for unemployment and industrial production on Thursday.
