US Secretary of State John Kerry is to discuss negotiations on Iran’s nuclear programme with the French, British and German foreign affairs ministers in Paris on Saturday, a US official said on Wednesday.

Kerry will meet France’s Laurent Fabius, Britain’s Phil Hammond and Germany’s Frank-Walter Steinmeier in the French capital as negotiations on Iran’s nuclear capacity progress towards a 31 March deadline.
The US and Iran will resume talks on 15 March, a senior State Department official who insisted on anonymity said, warning of “tough challenges” that still needed to be faced.
The comments came as Kerry wrapped up a new round of talks with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif in Switzerland, ignoring Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s call to ditch the potential deal in a speech to the US Congress on Tuesday.
"As always these discussions were very intense, we made some progress but [...] tough challenges are yet to be resolved," the official told reporters in Montreux, Switzerland.
Negotiations between the so-called P5+1 countries - the five members of the UN Security Council plus Germany - and Iran will also take place in the Swiss lakeside town on Thursday at a political director level.
