Immigrants in the United States often arrive with rich cultural traditions whether its literature, food, music, dance or art which often transition to infuse the country’s culture tapestry. In December in the US, Christian’s celebrate Christmas, for the Jew’s it is Hanukkah, and for African American families it's Kwanza. A new tradition in the US arising from its largest minority is celebrated in second week of December, the Mexican’s celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
