Christchurch struggles to rebuild one year after earthquake

Reuters/Tim WimborneA year ago the 400.000 residents of Christchurch, New Zealand, were woken by an earthquake. The quake was followed by months of aftershocks, including a quake that killed 182 victims on 22 February. Christchurch was partly destroyed, but few residents have left the town while authorities are still working on a long-term rebuilding plan. In Christchurch, people are trying to build new lives, knowing that another big quake could hit tomorrow.
