The Apec forum, which brings together 21 economies from around the Pacific Ocean, has kicked off in Hawaii just ten days after the G20 talks in France. Not surprisingly, one of the topics on the agenda is the shape of the world economy.  A researcher from the Philippines says she believes the eurozone crisis is similar to the Asian one of 1997.
