Bombs kill eight in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan on Tuesday Taliban rebels strapped a bomb to a donkey which exploded killing the district police chief of Charsada, central Ghor province. Nato forces were also targeted, in an ambush and in a suicide truck explosion at a Nato site and a French soldier was killed in Kapisa province. An NGO worker in Kabul discusses these and other events in Afghanistan.
