This week RFI meets 33 year-old Vasan Bala, whose first feature film Peddlers, was selected for the Critic's Week in Cannes this year. Bala is from Mumbai in India. He started out in a banking job, but soon found his way behind the big screen working with both Michael Winterbottom and Anurag Kashyap.
