US to ease ban on imports from Myanmar

The United States announced on Wednesday that it will ease a ban on imports from Myanmar, lifting its last major trade embargo on the southeast Asian nation. The repeal comes just over a week after opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi started a historic visit to the United States by calling for an end to sanctions.
