Pakistan government talks to Taliban

Negotiators for Pakistan's government and the Pakistani Taliban met for more than three hours on Thursday in a first round of peace talks. The United States, Pakistan's ally, is suspicious of the talks, as it sees the Taliban as a terrorist group. A local observer, Ahmad Junad comments on the talks, the Taliban and the relationship between the US and Pakistan.
