The Paris gig is scheduled for 13 June and was added to the Stones' 14 on Fire tour belatedly after the band scrapped appearances in Australia and New Zealand.

The tour kicked off in Abu Dhabi on 21 February but was suspended following the suicide of Mick Jagger's girlfriend, US fashion designer L'Wren Scott on 17 March.

It will resume on 7 June in the Netherlands.

In Paris the Stones will play the Stade de France, a national stadium built for the 1998 football World Cup.

They will also play two concerts in Germany, one in Belgium and one in Italy and have promised to reschedule concerts down under.

In 2012 tickets for a surprise gig at a small venue in Paris announced over Twitter sold out within minutes and the group played for one hour 20 minutes instead of the planned half hour.
