American dancer and choreographer Carolyn Carlson discusses her long European career in Paris and Venice. A free-spirited child of the Sixties, Carlson is now engaged in passing on her art of improvisation to younger dancers in Paris and Roubaix. She explains what it was like to hand off her legendary solo work Blue Lady to another dancer - and why she chose a man to dance in the famous blue dress.
