A highlight of the international festival of intercultural cinema in Lempaut, southewest France, was a documentary on tolerance between the world's three monotheistic religions. In Jacob Bender's "Out of Cordoba", the twelfth-century heroes, Averroes and Maimonides engage in a very modern debate between the faiths. The film is to be screened in February at the UN’s New York headquarters as part of the World Interfaith Harmony Week.
