Scandinavians sweep French chef championship
The winners
Francis Mainard/Sirha/Bocuse d'OrScandinavian chefs triumphed at this year's Bocuse d'Or, the world chef championship held every two years in Lyon, France. Denmark took the gold medal, with Sweden and Norway finishing second and third. France's only prize was for best meat platter, while land-locked Switzerland received the award for the best fish dish.
