The Cirque de Demain, the biggest international circus festival in the world, is on in Paris this weekend. Every year just 24 young artists out of 1,000 applicants get the chance to perform in front of the world’s biggest circus promoters. Since it began in 1977, the festival has allowed hundreds of youngsters, including those from Africa, to kickstart their careers.
