Louisiana's Sarah Savoy plays kick-ass Cajun

"We say we’re American by birth and Cajun by the grace of God," says Sarah Savoy. "There are lots of songs about how proud we are of who we are."Sarah Savoy was born into cajun music; her parents Marc and Ann Savoy have been key to its revival.

But while she sticks with traditional instruments like guitar and washboard, she adds a dose of raunchiness to its two-steps and waltzes.
