This week’s quiz: On 13 December, I asked you to send in the name of the Somali prime minister who had just resigned from office, after an 153 to 80 no-confidence vote in the parliament. What is his name?
The answer is: Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed. He served as Somalia’s prime minister for a year. The new prime minister is Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke – who has served once before as the country’s prime minister, from 2009 to 2010.
