We’ve heard from Resha Prakash! Resha is a regular contributor to the Sound Kitchen, and she lives in Nepal. She wrote to say she is fine and so is her family. She sends her love to her fellow Sound Kitchen listeners, and thanks everyone for their warm wishes and thoughts following the terrible earthquake.
This week’s quiz: On 25 April, Rosslyn Hyams asked you a question about China and Pakistan. China’s president Xi jin-ping had just made his first visit to Pakistan as head of state; during his visit, an investment plan was signed between the two countries. Rosslyn asked you to send in the name of the plan and how many dollars worth of investments were involved.
The answer is: The China Pakistan Economic Corridor, or CPEC; the package is worth 45 billion US dollars.
