Tunisia's post-revolution political alliance in crisis

Issued on:

Tunisia's post-revolution political alliance is facing its deepest crisis yet. This, after the country's Islamist prime minister ignored the president's opposition to the extradition of a former top Libyan official. President Moncef Marzouki was reportedly furious that Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali ordered the transfer to Libya of Moamer Kadhafi's last prime minister, Baghdadi al-Mahmudi, without his consent. RFI spoke to Francis Ghilès - a Tunisia specialist at the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs - about this uneasy alliance between Tunisia's seculars and islamists.
