Changing trend with female voters during Mali's elections

Although women represent 52 percent of Mali's 15.8 million people, there was only one female presidential candidate during these elections. In previous polls, fewer women voted than men. But in this latest election, that pattern appears to have changed, at least in the capital Bamako.
