The Moroccan man was arrested at Casablanca airport while on his way to Turkey with his daughters, who have French nationality, the Moroccan interior ministry said in a statement.
The man, identified by his initials NR, had already been detained in France and was supposed to report his movements to French police.
His legal wife, a French national, is in France but the man was trying to go to Turkey with another woman whom he had married in a "traditional" marriage.
About 2,000 Moroccan nationals, including some with dual nationality, are fighting in Syria and Iraq, according to the Moroccan authorities, who fear that some of them will return to carry out attacks at home.
