Thousands celebrate Pentecost with Paris-Chartres pilgrimage

For many countries with Christian traditions, today marks the celebration of the Pentecost. In France, this is a public holiday. And for the thirtieth year in succession, ten thousand pilgrims are due to arrive in the city of Chartres after three days of walking. RFI met the pilgrims last Saturday, as they set out from Paris’s Notre Dame Cathedral.
