Greenpeace protest outside French Parliament over Hollande's nuclear promise
Greenpeace protested in front of France's lower house of parliament on Monday morning over a delayed energy bill.

Greenpeace activists installed a large banner - on the Pont de la Concorde near the National Assembly - featuring a photo of French President François Hollande
The banners bore the words "I will commit France to reduce the share of nuclear power to 50% into 2025" echoing Hollande's pre-election promise to reduce dependency on nuclear fuel.
The protest came a day before the country's much-delayed energy bill is to be reviewed by a joint committee of lawmakers to try to find a compromise on nuclear energy reduction targets.
Four Greenpeace boats came near the National Assembly via the river Seine just before 8 am this Monday.
Greenpeace activists stretched out one banner on the river and put another one - featuring Hollande - on the bridge opposite the National Assembly.
One hour later, police removed both banners.
