UN counter terrorism boss flags coalition successes against 'Islamic State'
The sudden dramatic takeover of huge swathes of Iraq and Syria and the brutal methods used by the organisation calling itself Islamic State have led to disagreement in the media over how to describe the outfit. In an interview with RFI's Ollia Horton, Jean-Paul Laborde, who is the boss of the United Nations Counter Terrorism Executive insists that what distinguishes this group is that it has set up a state - and the coalition must stop it extending its territory.
