Syria refugees flee to Kurdistan

Issued on:

As the civil war in Syria continues, refugees are fleeing the country on a daily basis. Many Syrian Kurds head for the Kurdistan Region of Northern Iraq situated just across the border. While most choose to stay in the UNHCR camp of Domiz, others are fleeing to the cities in the hope of better living conditions and a chance of finding work. But life for these urban refugees isn’t easy.
