Eurozone tops agenda as Italy PM Monti meets Obama

Reuters/Eric VidalWhen the Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti visits Washington this Thursday, the eurozone crisis will be top of the agenda. Monti will be at the White House for talks with US President Barack Obama. Obama knows that a deepening eurozone crisis could wreak havoc with his reelection plans this year. It's not yet a panic, but Americans are looking nervously over their shoulders toward its most important economic and political partner.
