EU on recruitment drive for new interpreters
During the ExpoLangues fair in Paris

Recent agreement in Brussels over the European Union budget would not have been reached without the talents of a host of interpreters, in some 20 languages. And as a generation of British and French interpreters near retirement age, the European Commission interpreting service is on a recruitment drive. RFI met interpreters drumming up interest in this challenging and rewarding profession at the Expolangues language fair held last weekend in paris.
