Strauss-Kahn to sue pimp over 'DSK' brothel
Disgraced IMF boss Dominique Strauss-Kahn is embroiled in a new sex-related legal case. But this time he is suing a pimp for opening a brothel using his initials, DSK, claiming that it is a slur on his reputation.

French pimp Dominique Alderweireld – nicknamed Dodo la Saumure for complicated reasons relating to French slang, the sex trade and fish-pickling – is awaiting trial for allegedly providing prostitutes for Strauss-Kahn and other notables in the “Carlton Affair”,
a scandal that hit the former politician and economist after the New York sex assault accusations that cost him his IMF job.
He denies the charges.
On Wednesday he was due to open a new establishment, called Dodo Sex Klub or DSK, the initials by which French people frequently refer to Strauss-Kahn.
It is in Blaton, near the French border, and will employ “six girls, including a transsexual”, and be equipped with a “dance table and bedrooms”, according to Alderweireld.
The name is not to Strauss-Kahn’s liking and he has put a team of five lawyers – three in France and two in Belgium – onto the case.
In a statement they threaten to use “any judicial means to end the slur on his name” arising from the use of his initials in connection with Alderweireld’s enterprise.
Alderweireld already runs four such establishments in Belgium, where he now lives, and is planning to pen another soon.
Its name?
The Carlton Club.
