Fighting in Donetsk series part 3/3

Issued on:

More than 6,400 people have been killed in eastern Ukraine since fighting began in April 2014 between government forces and pro-Russian separatists. As both parties struggle to find a peaceful solution, many civilians continue to live in separatist-controlled areas where access to pension and medical assistance is becoming increasingly difficult. Though international medical organisations operate in the region, many locals are unaware on their activities.
