Eric Woerth hit by new allegations

France's embattled labour minister rejected new conflict of interest claims Wednesday after the Libération newspaper reported that he had intervened in a tax audit at the request of a wealthy UMP supporter. The paper printed a letter it says proves that Woerth "used all the weight of his office" to obtain 27 million euros in tax breaks on the inheritance of sculptor César Baldaccini, known as César.
