Woman admits killing lover and freezing him
A French woman has admitted that she killed her lover and kept his body in the freezer for two years, prosecutors in Lyon said. Guylene Collober, 51, confessed to killing her lover, Jean-Francois Poinard, 71, a retired chef by punching him. She had claimed earlier that Poinard could have been killed racketeers.
Issued on:
"She isolated her partner from his friends, his family, the neighbours," prosecutor Marc Desert said Wednesday. He said Collober was a person with "pathlogical tendencies, narcissistic, possessive and violent."
Desert said Poinard was frequently seen around the neighbourhood sporting bruises and marks.
Poinard's body was found in a freezer during a search of his home. Collober, who is in custody, had left his body in a bath before buying a freezer and putting his body in it.
